Terms of Use

The short version

Tidyroll suggests what to clean; you decide. Keep your own backups. Yearly and Monthly start with a 3-day free trial and renew automatically until you cancel in your store settings. Apple or Google handles billing and refunds.

1. Agreement

These terms are between you and ACCENTURE SOFTWARE COMPANY LIMITED ("we", "us"), the publisher of Tidyroll. By downloading or using Tidyroll, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

On iPhone and iPad, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. On Android, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply.

2. Your license

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Tidyroll on devices you own or control, as the App Store or Google Play rules allow, for personal, non-commercial use.

3. Your photos, your decisions

Tidyroll suggests photos and videos to compress, keep or delete. Nothing is deleted until you confirm, and your phone asks once more before items go.

  • Deleted items go to Recently Deleted on iPhone and iPad, where they stay for 30 days, or to Trash on Android, before they're gone for good.
  • Compressing a video saves a smaller copy to your library and moves the original to Recently Deleted or Trash in the same way.
  • Suggestions such as best shots or accidental videos are made automatically and can be wrong. Review them before you confirm.
  • You're responsible for keeping your own backups of anything you can't replace.

4. Free plan

Tidyroll is free to download. The free plan includes the full scan and cleanup, up to 50 deletions a day and 3 free video compressions. Best-shot picks are part of Pro. We may change the free plan's limits in future versions.

5. Tidyroll Pro

Pro removes the daily deletion and compression limits and adds best-shot picks. It's available as:

  • Yearly: $29.99 a year, with a 3-day free trial.
  • Monthly: $4.99 a month, with a 3-day free trial.
  • Lifetime: $49.99, a one-time purchase with no trial and no renewal.

Prices are in US dollars. Local prices vary by country and are shown in the App Store or Google Play before you buy. Free trials are for new subscribers and follow Apple's and Google's eligibility rules. Your Pro status belongs to your Apple ID or Google account; use Restore purchases in the app on a new device.

6. Renewal, cancelling and refunds

  • Payment: charged to your Apple ID or Google account when you confirm the purchase, or when your free trial ends, and at each renewal.
  • Auto-renewal: Yearly and Monthly renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period, including a free trial, ends.
  • Cancelling: manage or cancel in your App Store subscription settings or Google Play subscription settings. You keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for. Deleting the app doesn't cancel a subscription.
  • Refunds: handled by Apple or Google under their own policies. We can't issue refunds directly.
  • Price changes: if a subscription price changes, Apple or Google will tell you before it applies, as their rules require.

7. Fair use

Please don't copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell the app, get around its Pro limits, or use it in a way that breaks the law or harms others.

8. Ownership

Tidyroll, its name, icon, design and code belong to us and are protected by intellectual property laws. Your photos and videos remain yours.

9. No warranty

Tidyroll is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, and we don't promise that the app will be error-free or free any particular amount of space.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for the loss of photos, videos or other data, including items you chose to delete or compress. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Tidyroll in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.

11. Ending these terms

You can stop using Tidyroll at any time by deleting it; cancel any subscription in your store settings. We may end your license if you seriously break these terms.

12. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms. We'll change the effective date above and, for significant changes, mention them in the app's release notes.

These terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING LAW AND COURTS: TO BE SET BY THE OWNER].
